Statement of Faith

 STATEMENT OF FAITH

 

1. We believe The Bible is our only guidance of Truth. The Bible is The Book of Truth. The Bible is inerrant, infallible revelation to man, and to be the only supreme authority in the matters of faith and conduct.

• 2 Timothy 3:16-17 – All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
• Psalm 119:160 – The entirety of Your word is truth, and every one of Your righteous judgments (laws) a re forever.
• Revelation 20:12 – And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.

2. We believe The Creator of the Universe is Our Father (Abba)

• Isaiah 45:12 – I have made the earth, and created man on it. I–My hands–stretched out the heavens, and all their host I have commanded.
• Ephesians 1:2 – Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
• Revelation 1:6 – and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. 

3. We believe Jesus (Yeshua) is the Word became flesh, He is God. Jesus and the Father are One

• John 1:1-5, 14 – In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness… And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
• Isaiah 44:24 – Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, and He who formed you from the womb: “I am the LORD, who makes all things, Who stretches out the heavens all alone, Who spreads abroad the earth by Myself;”
• Isaiah 9:6 – For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
• Isaiah 43:10-11 – “You are My witnesses,” says the LORD, “And My servant whom I have chosen, that you may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, nor shall there be after Me.  I, even I am the LORD, and besides Me there is no Saviour.”
• John 10:30 – “I and My Father are one.”
• Colossians 2:9 – For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.
• Revelation 1:8 – “I am the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is, who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” 

4. We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus (Yeshua), His sinless humanity, substitutionary death, bodily resurrection, and ascension to Heaven. His atoning blood bringing redemption to our lives.   Jesus is our only Savior, Lord and King.

• Romans 14:8 – For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.
• Galatians 3:13 – Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”),
• Revelation 19:11-16 – Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

5. We believe in Salvation by Faith only comes in the name of Jesus (Yeshua)

• Acts 4:12 – Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
• John 14:6 – Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

6. We believe Repentance and Water Baptism as our part in fulfilling the will of God

• Luke 3:3 – And he went into all the region around the Jordan, preaching a baptism of repentance for the remission of sins,
• Matthew 3:15 – But Jesus answered and said to him, “Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he allowed Him. 

7. We believe in Jesus Christ (Yeshua HaMashiach), we are New Creation

• 2 Corinthians 5:17 – Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

8. We are called to Love Him and to be His Witnesses

• Deuteronomy 6:5 – You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
• Psalm 27:4 – One thing I have desired of the LORD, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD, And to inquire in His temple.
• Psalm 42:7 – Deep calls unto deep at the noise of Your waterfalls; All Your waves and billows have gone over me.
• Isaiah 43:10 – “You are My witnesses,” says the LORD, “And My servant whom I have chosen, That you may know and believe Me, And understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, Nor shall there be after Me.
• Mark 12:30 – And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment.
• Jude 1:21 – keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. 

9. We believe in the resurrection of the dead – the saved ones to eternal life and the unsaved to judgment and punishment without end.

• John 5:28-29 – “Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth – those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of condemnation.”
• Daniel 12:2 – And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, some to shame and everlasting contempt. 

10. We believe the Holy Spirit regenerates, indwells, and baptizes believers into the Body of Christ (Messiah)

• Titus 3:4-7 – But when the kindness and the love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit.
• John 3:6 – “That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”
• 1 Corinthians 3:16 – Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you ?
• Acts 1:5 – For John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.
• 1 Corinthians 12:13 – For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free  and have all been made to drink into one – Spirit.

11. We believe the Holy Spirit is Our Helper and Comforter; He is The Spirit of Truth and Grace; through the Holy Spirit we are becoming heirs of the Promise, until we all receive our Total Restoration.

• John 16:13 – However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.
• Zechariah 12:10 – “And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.
• Hebrews 10:29 – Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?
• Ephesians 1:14 – who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.
• Acts 3:21 – whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.

12. We believe in the Operation of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit within the Body of Christ (Messiah)

• 1 Corinthians 12:4 – There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
• Hebrews 2:4 – God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will?

13. We believe in the Fivefold Ministries of Jesus (Yeshua)

• Ephesians 4:11-13 – And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 

14. We acknowledge, bless and love Israel as the Root of Our Faith

• Romans 11:17 – And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree,

15. We believe in the One New Man in Messiah, Jews and Gentiles worshipping together and preparing the way for the coming of the King of Glory.

• Ephesians 2:14-16 – For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. 

16. We receive the 7 biblical Feasts of the Lord, and believe they are revealing Jesus Christ (Yeshua HaMashiach) and the mystery of the relationship between God and Man

• Exodus 23:14 – “Three times you shall keep a feast to Me in the year.” 

17. We believe the Word, “Let Your Kingdom Come and Your Will be done on earth as it is in heaven” is the Promise of Jesus (Yeshua) for our lives here on earth

• Matthew 6:9-10 – In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.

18. We believe in the returning of King Jesus (Yeshua) back to Jerusalem

• Revelation 3:11 – Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.
• Revelation 22:7 – “Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”
• Revelation 22:12 – “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.
• Revelation 22:20 – He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
